Michelle Relerford is a 7NEWS General Assignment Reporter. She's no stranger to cold winters, having come from her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, where she worked as a freelance reporter at the FOX affiliate, WFLD-TV. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Michelle is glad to be back on the East Coast.

Michelle previously worked at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She also worked at WNDU-TV in South Bend, Indiana, where she covered breaking news and anchored the weekend newscasts.

On a personal note, Michelle loves animals, watching movies and says she would have been a teacher if she did not pursue a career in television news. Despite having interviewed presidential candidates, superstar athletes and entertainers, she maintains that her proudest moments are with her son.
