Larry Ridley
7NEWS SPORTS ANCHOR
Larry Ridley is a 7News Sports Weekend Anchor (Fri.-Sat.) and Reporter. He joined the 7News Team in January 2006.
Larry comes to 7NEWS from our sister station WSVN-TV (Fox) in Miami, Florida. Prior to that, he worked for WAPT in Jackson, Mississippi and WKAG in Kentucky. In 2003, The Associated Press recognized Larry for the "Best Sports Cast" in the state of Mississippi.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Larry is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he played as a wide receiver for the Blue Raider football team. Always a fan of sports, Larry is a huge Celtics fan!
Larry, his wife, and two sons currently reside in the Boston area.
