Report: al-Qaeda preparing another attack on West

LONDON -- Osama bin Laden is reportedly planning an attack against the West that will "outdo by far" the attacks of Sept. 11, according to a London-area newspaper.

The newspaper said al-Qaeda is preparing training camps around the world for the attack, with its goal reportedly to "change the face of world politics and economics."

British security experts said they're convinced al-Qaeda will attempt another spectacular attack targeting major transportation centers.

High-profile places in the United Kingdom were placed under a severe terror threat level.
