Red Sox to play 4 exhibition games against Rays
BOSTON -- The Boston Red Sox will play four spring training games against the Tampa Bay Rays, the team that beat them in this year's AL championship series.
Two of the games will be in Port Charlotte, Fla., the Rays new spring home, and two will be in Fort Myers, Fla., the Red Sox spring training site since 1993.
The 37-game schedule released Tuesday begins with two games on Feb. 25, against Boston College at home and against Minnesota in the Twins park in Fort Myers. Boston also will play two games against the New York Yankees and one against Puerto Rico in a World Baseball Classic exhibition on March 5.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 6 with the same prices as last spring training, from $10 to $40.
