Celtics assign rookie guard to NBADL affiliate
BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics on Friday assigned rookie guard Gabe Pruitt to their NBA Development League affiliate in Utah.
The 6-foot-4 Pruitt, the Celtics second-round pick out of Southern California, scored four points and had one assist in two appearances with the Celtics (9-1) this season. He was on the inactive list for six games.
Pruitt is the second Celtics player assigned to Utah this season. Undrafted rookie Brandon Wallace, was sent to Utah on Nov. 13.
