Florida home invaded by 'big buzz'
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- Millions of bees made a new home in a South Florida apartment, forcing residents to find a solution to the sticky situation.
A couple living in an apartment complex along the 800 block of Second Avenue left a little "stung" after a swarm of bees invaded their home.
Beekeepers came in to clean the house after over three million bees were found inside. The team said the bees got in through a small hole in the wall, and set up shop in a kitchen cabinet.
"It's normal to get inside a wall like this," said beekeeper Adrian Bolero, "but I have never got them in the kitchen like this before. But, you know they left it, and it got bigger and bigger and bigger."
The bees had already produced about 60 pounds of honey, which the team also removed.
