WHITMAN, Mass. -- A construction worker was injured while on the job Monday afternoon.
The 32-year-old worker was pinned under a piece of construction equipment that he was working on just after 2 p.m. at T&K Construction on Industrial Way.
Officials said the man's co-worker saved him by lifting the piece of equipment off of his body.
"He was conscious, he was moving his arms," said Chief Timothy Grenneo, of the Whitman Fire Dept. "He had great pain from probably the mid ribcage area down."
The victim was med-flighted to Beth Israel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
OSHA and the Department of Public Safety are investigating.
