Man points gun at woman at local pharmacy
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- A dangerous suspect seen lurking inside a local pharmacy is accused of pulling a gun on a group of young woman.
The incident happened at the Walgreens on the corner of Route 114 and Waverly Road in North Andover.
The alleged suspect was caught on surveillance camera hanging around near the pharmacy counter. From where he was, he could clearly see customers picking up prescriptions and could hear conversations they were having with the pharmacist.
After one young woman paid for her prescription, the suspect followed her to the parking lot. She was in an SUV with two other females when the man approached the car and asked if she had a cigarette.
When she said no, he opened the car door, pointed a gun at her, and demanded the prescription she had just picked up.
The victim handed over the bag, and when the suspect saw that it was an antibiotic, he threw it back at them.
The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, a yellow jacket, and long shorts. The woman said he drove away in a gray pickup truck. He is described as about 6 feet 1 inch tall weighing about 220 pounds.
While nothing was stolen, police said the suspect could still face felony charges.
