Police: Angry airline passenger flings foot powder
BOSTON -- A man accused of throwing foot powder around an airplane because he was angry his flight from Las Vegas to Boston was delayed has pleaded not guilty.
Arthur Nicolson of Framingham was released on personal recognizance Tuesday after his arraignment on charges including disorderly conduct and interfering with the operation of an aircraft.
The 42-year-old was arrested Monday after the U.S. Airways flight he was on landed at Logan International Airport.
The plane's captain told state police that after the landing, Nicolson began throwing the white powder and said, "This is what your airline gets for treating me bad."
When state police arrested Nicolson, he allegedly had a 7-ounce container of Dr. Scholl's foot powder.
A message left for Nicolson's attorney was not immediately returned Tuesday.
