Man arrested for assault at high school football game
LYNNFIELD, Mass. -- A man was arrested at the Lynnfield High School football game over the weekend when he allegedly punched a man.
A police officer working a detail at the Lynnfield vs. Wilmington game at Lynnfield Middle School witnessed the fight in the stands.
Police said William Lunt, 46, was swearing at the football game when 78-year-old Fred Roberto asked him to stop.
According to the officer, Lunt pushed Roberto to the ground.
Lunt was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a person over 60.
