Driver nearly crashes into town hall building
AYER, Mass. -- A car ran off the road and nearly crashed into Ayer Town Hall Saturday morning.
The vehicle was traveling westbound on Main St. when it swerved off the road, jumped the curb, hit a statue, and then and hit the tree in front of town hall.
The driver was a 30-year-old female who officials say suffered from a medical condition.
She had two children in the car during the accident. All three of them were transported to Nashoba Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
