BROOKLINE, Mass. -- Firefighters knocked down a fire that started early Friday morning on Strathmore Road in Brookline.
Up to 75 residents were forced to evacuate the building.
The flames started on the apartment's roof but were contained and put out shorty after firefighters arrived.
Officials are investigating whether a barbecue on the roof may have caused the fire.
