Lynn man faces murder charge
LYNN, Mass. -- A Lynn man has pleaded not guilty to murder for allegedly shooting a 24-year-old man.
Walter Clare was ordered held without bail during his arraignment Thursday in Lynn District Court.
Prosecutors accuse him of fatally shooting Jonathan Harris Tuesday night.
Clare's attorney says police reports suggest the victim fired first and that Clare was defending himself.
