Man hit by MBTA trolley

BRIGHTON, Mass. -- A young man was struck by a green line “T” trolley early Sunday morning.

The 18-year-old was apparently talking on his cell phone and did not see or hear the train coming right at him.

The accident happened by Commonwealth Ave. and Harvard Ave.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.
