NH does not escape Starbucks closings
ROCHESTER, N.H. -- Some coffee drinkers in Rochester, N.H., will have to find a new spot to get their caffeine fix.
Starbucks has named all 600 company-owned stores it plans to close in a big budget cutting move -- and it includes one on Washington Street in Rochester.
The gourmet coffee retailer announced this month it was closing stores to try to boost business and weed out unprofitable shops. The closings start this month and continue through the first half of the next fiscal year.
