N.H. man accused of assault arrested while reading rape book
DERRY, N.H. -- Police say a man accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old boy was arrested at the Derry Public Library, where he was reading a book called the "Encyclopedia of Rape."
Twenty-year-old Dennis Boehm is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault against a boy he was baby-sitting.
He was arraigned Thursday and held on $100,000 cash bail. Prosecutors say he poses a danger society because of his past convictions for resisting arrest, simple assault and burglary and because he was reading about rape.
The book is a collection of academic writings on the legal, historical, and social aspects of rape.
