Some Arlington residents receive racial pamphlets

BOSTON -- Some residents in Arlington said pamphlets featuring hate speech have showed up on their doorsteps.

The unsolicited brochures, filled with racial slurs, were found in front of at least a dozen homes in Arlington Heights and East Arlington.

"There were racist comments all over the place about Jewish people, Mexicans and gays," said Peter Culhane, a resident who received mail.

Police said the pamphlets were from National Alliance, which is a group based in West Virginia. 7News was unable to reach them for comment.

Residents said this is not the first time they have received this kind of mail.

Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington Police at 781-316-3900.
