JUST ONE STATION: Neighbor attacked over laundry detergent
LAWRENCE, Mass. -- A dispute of laundry detergent left a teenager bloodied and bruised.
The incident occurred Sunday night on 18 Graichen Terrace in Lawrence.
According to the police report, Olga Delvalle left a note on her laundry detergent, which she left in a shared laundry room, telling everyone not to use it.
Yanirka Rodriguez-Ramos, 17, says that she believed that the note was directed at her. She left a note for Delvalle saying, "If you have something to say, say it to me, this is for Olga."
Delvalle allegedly responded by visiting Rodriguez-Ramos and her mother, and beat them.
Delvalle was arrested by police. She was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, because she was wearing rings at the time of the incident.
"Those rings could really inflict serious injuries beyond just a red face," Chief John Romero, Lawrence Police Department, said.
Delvalle is also charged with having a stun gun inside of her home.
Delvalle refused to comment on the incident, telling 7News to contact her attorney. Delvalle's lawyer did not return our phone call.
