Children escape after day care center catches fire
FRANKLIN, Mass. -- Five children safely escaped a two-alarm fire from a day care center in Franklin on Tuesday.
Flames broke out around 3 p.m. at 129 Conlyn Avenue. Two sisters driving on Interstate 495 saw smoke coming from the home and called 911.
The two women found the house and helped rescue five children, ranging from 3 months to five years old. They all made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
