Woman groped at Dudley Station bus stop, man arrested
BOSTON -- A man was caught groping a woman on a Dudley Station train Sunday, not long after the MBTA launched a harassment awareness campaign.
William H. Crenshaw, 44, was arrested after he approached the victim and started threatening her.
The victim was attempting to exit the train when Crenshaw grabbed her buttocks.
Transit Police Officers arrived at the scene upon hearing the victim scream.
Crenshaw was charged with indecent assault and battery. He will be arraigned in Roxbury District on Tuesday.
The MBTA recently launched a public service campaign to increase awareness of sexual harassment on public transit. Ads like the one reading, "Rub against me and I'll expose you," were unveiled in several MBTA train stations last week.
