LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Police are calling the death of a Lawrence couple and their dog a murder-suicide.
Police conducting a well-being check on 61-year-old Joseph Domurat and his wife, 57-year-old Noreen, on Saturday found the couple dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
Police went to the house after neighbors had not scene the couple in several days.
The couple's Great Dane was also dead of a bullet wound.
Chief John Romero says its appears Joseph Domurat shot his wife, then himself, and police may never knew exactly what happened.
