Worker struck by shot from pellet gun
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Police said a DPW worker driving a street sweeper was hit in the head with a pellet gun Tuesday.
"I was shocked, stunned and somewhat disoriented," said Steve Young, who was hit by a pellet gun.
The gun was fired from a yard on River Ridge Road in Wellesley.
Police said the pellet went through the plexi glass window of the street sweeper and struck Steve's head, but did not pierce his skin.
"I was hoping I wasn't bleeding and I was hoping I was alive," said Young.
Authorities determined the shot had come from one of two houses on the road. Police questioned two men and confiscated two pellet guns, but no arrests have been made.
Steve suffered a bruise and was okay.
