Clothing theft thwarted
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Police say a group of thieves, including a woman holding a baby, ran off empty-handed as they tried to steal bagloads of clothing from a store in Manchester (New Hampshire).
Police say three men and a woman tried to steal bundles of clothing from the display racks at the Abercrombie and Fitch store at the Mall of New Hampshire on Monday.
Store employees reported that one man and the woman, who was holding a baby, apparently were lookouts, as two men filled large bags with clothing. They dropped the goods and ran away when confronted by store security.
