Cab lands on porch in Brookline

BOSTON -- A homeowner received a rude awakening early Friday morning in Brookline.

A cab landed on his porch.

The incident happened at on Clyde Street just before 1 a.m.

Police believe slippery roads caused the driver to lose control.

A building inspector will check for structural damage later today, and utility companies will check on power lines that fell.

There were no injuries reported.
