Man suffering from heart attack rescued from nursing home fire
BOSTON -- A nursing home in Jamaica Plain goes up in flames in the middle of the night, forcing rescue officials to save an elderly man suffering from a heart attack.
The blaze started around 1:30 Sunday morning in Mount Pleasant nursing home on Huntington Street.
The man who was in cardiac arrest was trapped in a burning room.
Crews managed to pull him out but he suffered some serious burns.
All other patients made it out ok.
Fire officials have not said anything on a cause.
