Springfield man faces murder charge in driver's disappearance

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- A Springfield man charged with killing a pizza delivery driver has been ordered held without bail on a murder charge.
Hampden District Attorney William Bennett says not guilty pleas were entered on behalf of 28-year-old Alex Morales during an arraignment in Springfield District Court.
He's charged with murder, kidnapping and assault charges in the weekend death of 20-year-old Corey Lind of Chicopee.
Lind disappeared while delivering a pizza order early Sunday in Springfield.
Bennett says Morales assaulted Lind, took control of his car and took him to Monson, where he was fatally stabbed.
The DA alleges Morales ordered the pizza with the intent of killing Lind after stealing the delivery car.
Morales is due back in court on January 11.
