Woman arrested in charity theft
SALEM, N.H. -- Police have charged a Plaistow woman with stealing charity donation cans in Salem -- thefts that apparently involved a young child acting as a lookout.
Police charged Van Ngoc Do, 39, with stealing two Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) donation cans from the State Liquor Store in Salem on September 29th.
Surveillance video showed an Asian woman taking the canisters while a young boy acted as a lookout.
Police say they were led to the woman by a tip from someone who had seen media reports of the theft.
