Lynn man snagged in sex sting
LYNN, Mass. -- Police arrested Norman Reed, 40, for allegedly pursuing an underage girl for sex.
Reed bought a plane ticket to Lansing, Michigan where he planned to rendezvous with a child he met online, police say. But instead of a young girl, he met officers at the airport.
According to authorities, Reed used his home computer to have explicit conversations with someone he thought was an underage girl -- but turned out to be an officer.
Police say he planned to have sex with her. Reed faces multiple charges.
