Bomb Squad detonates grenades that were left in trash
NEWTON, Mass. -- The State Police Bomb Squad detonated two grenades that were found in the trash.
The grenades were discovered in the garbage right near Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
A woman accidentally threw the grenades in the trash. She had stored the grenades, which were her late husband's, along with his gear from Vietnam.
