BEDFORD, N.H. -- Authorities said a Bedford woman interrupted a burglary in her own home and was robbed and assaulted in her garage.
Police said the woman returned to her Beech Street home during the day yesterday and discovered burglars at her house. One of the burglars assaulted the woman in the garage, and stole her jewelry. The woman suffered minor injuries.
The burglar was described as a white man, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet eight inches tall, wearing blue jeans and a dark hat.
