Robber sparks threat at Wayland pharmacy
WAYLAND, Mass. -- An alleged robber sparked a threat at a local pharmacy. The incident happened at Brooks Pharmacy in Wayland, Mass.
Cliffton Burtt, 40, had a bottle of lighter fluid and threatened to light two employees on fire, police said.
An undisclosed amount of cash had been taken from the cash drawers before he fled the store in a stolen vehicle. Natick Police later caught up with Burtt.
He was arrested after witnesses identified the vehicle.
No employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
