WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Police are searching for a suspect who led them on a short pursuit before escaping on foot.
Police said when they tried to pull over a driver for a traffic violation, the car refused to stop.
The suspect bailed out of his black car and managed to escape on foot. Witnesses saw the man running.
Authorities said the car the suspect abandoned belongs to a Lynn woman. They are hoping that she may be able to give them some clues.
