Police arrest two connected with Orange Line shooting

BOSTON -- Boston police have arrested two people in relation to last month's shooting at a busy Orange Line T station.

Two brothers, 18-year-old Jeremy Thomas and 20-year-old Jonathan Thomas, will face a number of charges in relation to shooting another teenager at Ruggles station in Roxbury.

Police officers arrested the two brothers at their apartment on Wardman Road. At the apartment, police officers found a loaded handgun.

The victim, who was shot in the arm and leg, has been released from the hospital. The shooting shut down train service for several hours that day.

The suspects will be arraigned tomorrow in Roxbury.
