State Police release sketch of Esplanade sexual assault suspect
BOSTON -- Police released a sketch of the suspect in a sexual assault of a jogger on the Charles River Esplanade.
According to State Police, the attack occured shortly after 11 p.m. on June 16 on a heavily traveled jogging path.
The unknown black male is in his early to mid-20s and described as approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 170 to 180 lbs., with a shaved head and "chubby" build. He was last seen wearing dark shorts and a dark T-shirt.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the State Police Barracks in Boston at 617-727-4812.
This attack happened the same day and in the same place as another sexual assault, however police say that the two cases are not related.
Police have charged one person in the first attack.
