40-year-old woman pleads not guilty related to the beating of teen
NATICK, Mass. -- A 40-year-old woman pleads not guilty to assault and battery charges related to what police called a "group beat down" of a 16-year-old girl.
Marilyn Camacho of Framingham and the girls, ages 16, 13 and 12, were arrested following the fight at the Natick Collection last week.
Natick District Court Judge Andrew D'Angelo Tuesday set bail at $1,000 -- with conditions that she have no contact with victim, and stay away from the mall.
The alleged attack took place at a mall in front of dozens of onlookers.
Police say the unidentified victim was left unconscious.
Camacho and the three girls reportedly came upon the victim walking through the mall around five p-m. Police say one of the alleged attackers and the victim had fought in the past.
The suspects are accused of stomping on the victim's legs, grabbing the woman and pushing her into the glass window of one of the stores.
