HYANNIS, Mass. -- A Cape Cod man was arrested Monday night for apparently passing out on a woman's couch after a night of drinking.
The woman reportedly returned to her Bearse's Way residence around 1 a.m. to find Derek Hallenbrook, 27, asleep inside.
One of her windows also was broken.
Hallenbrook, who claims he knew the woman's boyfriend, told authorities that he thought he had been sleeping at his sister's home.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Barnstable District Court for breaking and entering in the nighttime.
