Man charged with starting Chestnut Hill fires
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- A Newton man is behind bars, accused of starting a bathroom blaze at the mall.
Police say Brandon Brunberg started two fires, one in a bathroom at the Chestnut Hill Mall.
The 20-year-old is also accused of phoning in a fake 911 call, saying he was stabbed.
He was a temporary worker at this Bloomingdale's.
Brunberg was arrested after surveillance video showed him going into the bathroom just minutes before one of the fires was reported.
He's facing four charges, including the burning of a building.
