Trio injured by drunk driver released from hospital as suspect appears before judge
NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. -- A 20-year-old Uxbridge woman was in court on Tuesday, facing drunk driving charges.
Police say Faith Folmsbee, after a night of drinking, ran over three people in the parking lot of China Pacific on Linwood Avenue in Northbridge. She reportedly then fled the scene in her 2000, green Saturn.
When pulled over by police, Folmsbee allegedly told officers that she was "hammered."
Whitinsville natives Kasey Weihn, 17, and Kelly Berry, 24, were both transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center with head wounds, according to authorities.
Police said Weihn also had endured a possible ankle injury, while Berry had potentially hurt her neck, back and knee.
Stephen Nunes, 29, of Milford, meanwhile had minor injuries.
The three victims have all been released from the hospital.
Folmsbee meanwhile is reportedly facing charges of two counts of operating under the influence of liquor and causing serious injury, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and operating to endanger.
Her parents paid her $10,000 and drove their daughter to court, where her attorney told a judge his client "needs help." Folmsbee was put under house arrest and ordered to listen to her parents or face jail time.
