Boston bank robbed at gunpoint; suspect still on the loose

BOSTON -- Police say an armed man walked into the Sovereign Bank on Massachusetts Avenue around 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect was a black man, about 6 feet, two inches tall, who was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and a blue hoodie.

There has been word how much money he got away with.

Police say he fled toward Symphony Hall.
