Students treated after dangerous carbon monoxide leak
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. -- Sickness spreads at Mass Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay.
Firefighters traced the source of the illness to a carbon monoxide leak in the school's cafeteria.
Emergency crews treated more than a dozen students and three students were taken to a local hospital.
Officials say the cause was a faulty dishwasher.
The unit is set for service and repair.
All traces of the dangerous gas have been eliminated.
