WARWICK, R.I. -- A Rhode Island teenager is facing some serious accusations.
The high school student is accused of skipping school and robbing a bank.
The 17-year old allegedly handed a teller a note at Warwick’s Coastway Bank demanding money. The note said if there was not cooperation he would shoot.
Police say they tracked the student down six hours after the robbery when he called them himself.
Authorities have not released the student’s name.
He is being held on first degree robbery charges.
