Missing autistic child in Douglas found

DOUGLAS, Mass. -- A 5-year old autistic boy is safe in Douglas tonight after he was missing for almost three hours.

Police say they received a 9-1-1 call around 10 a.m. Saturday morning from a woman saying she lost the little boy while they were hiking in the Douglas State Forest.

County and State Police searched the area until another woman called to say she found him playing by a brook.

Police say the boy is in good health and was not harmed.
