Roxbury police searching for suspect in attack

ROXBURY, Mass. -- Police are looking for a suspect who attacked another man with a hatchet in Roxbury today.

Police say they responded to a call about a reported assault around 9 p.m. Friday night.

When they got to the scene they found the 52-year old victim with wounds on his head and arms.

According to police, the two men involved know each other and had been drinking when the fight broke out.

The victim is in stable condition and police are continuing to look for the suspect.
