Two H1N1-related deaths reported in Massachusetts

BOSTON -- Two more deaths have been reported in Massachusetts due to complications from H1N1, according to the State Department of Public Health.

The two victims include a child under the age of four from Middlesex County and an adult between the ages 45 and 64 from Suffolk County. The adult had an underlying health condition. It unclear if the child did at this time.

Since the flu season began in October, there have been five statewide deaths, with two this week.

This is second pediatric H1N1 death since last spring and the youngest victim statewide to die of H1N1.
