BOSTON -- An FAA computer glitch caused flight delays and cancellations across the country, but was fixed on Thursday morning. Minimal delays were reported at Logan Airport.

The FAA said there was a problem processing flight information by computer, but those problems were corrected at around 10 a.m. Thursday. All flights during the gltich were monitored manually.

Air traffic controllers still had radar coverage and radio communication with the planes, so flights could take off and land.

An Air Tran spokesman said there was no danger to flights in the air.

Logan Airport officials told 7News that there were minimal delays in Boston. But, travelers are urged to call ahead if they plan to fly on Thursday.
