KINGSTON, Mass. -- Police made an arrest in connection with an act of vandalism that occurred at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston last Wednesday.

Glenn Cadose, 17, was arrested and charged with 92 counts of vandalizing a grave stone and one count of trespessing. Three juvenile suspects were interviewed and later charged in connection with the crime.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars memorial and 91 headstones were found overturned last Wednesday, which was Veteran’s Day. The memorial lists the Kingston servicemen killed in combat during World War I and World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

"To find all this on the Veteran's Day morning really hits the community. This was something that impacted this community very hard," said Chief Joseph Rebello of the Kingston Police Department.

Police had originally offered a $500 reward for information leading to the suspects' arrests, prompting Cadose's classmates to provide tips to officials. Police will likely donate the reward money to the local high school.

"If you're going to do this type of destructive behavior, you don't want to do it around Kingston because we're going to find you," Rebello said.

Cadose appeared in court on Monday.
