BOSTON -- Christmas is quickly approaching and Boston is getting ready for the holiday festivities.
The Macy's Christmas tree arrived in Downtown Crossing on Sunday.
The nearly 50-foot evergreen was lifted onto Macy's marquee ledge in preparation for the store's annual tree lighting ceremony on November 27th.
Kevin Youkilis of the Red Sox, Boston mayor Tom Menino, and of course Santa Claus will all be there to help light the tree.
