Gov. Patrick and advisors discussing possible budget cuts
BOSTON -- Governor Deval Patrick has just wrapped up a meeting with his advisors to discuss possible budget cuts in Massachusetts.
An announcement is expected sometime next week. The governor recently said that the state is facing a $600 million deficit for the coming budget year and that he may be forced to lay off thousands of state workers.
