BOSTON -- Police are looking for the man responsible for an armed robbery of a student at a dorm on the campus of Northeastern University.

The armed robbery at Northeastern was first reported at around 1:15 a.m. Thursday.

The victim, who claimed a laptop was stolen in the incident, was able to give police a good description of the suspect.

Officers said the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle before dumping the bike and running. They later found the student's laptop near a Wentworth Institute of Technology building.

Investigators believe the suspect entered that Wentworth administrative building located on Parker Street. The building was evacuated and K-9 units and the SWAT team were called in to search the area.

Police have since re-opened streets in the area after the search of the Wentworth building turned up nothing.

The suspect has not been arrested.
