Flower 'thief' believes Brady will let him off easy
BOSTON -- A man accused of stealing from Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is trying to pay him back, by panhandling on the street.
According to the Boston Herald, Dennis Paiva found a pair of expensive flower boxes near some garbage, took the flowers and then sold them.
It turns out that the flowers belonged to Brady and Paiva was cited for larceny.
He must now pay $4,000.
Paiva believes Brady might let him off easy. However, a spokesperson for the quarterback says it is unlikely that Brady is even aware of the situation.
